Panasonic ED Analog Picture

Can anyone tell me how the analog picture is on the Panasonic TH-42PD50U?
I have heard conflicting responses on the qualityu of it. Also, does it make a big difference in how you hook it up to Digital Cable or Satellite?

it really depends on you and your viewing habbits.

I have the ED panny and am running analog through it...looks very good to me. Much better than my old tube TV. Now the thing is I don't have digital or HD to compare it with. Yeah I know, its a waste to have a digital TV without a digital signal.

Anyway, it really depends on what you have to compare it with. If all you do is wacth analog, it will look fine because you will eventualy adjust to it. For example. After watching a 2 hour+ DVD and then switching off and watching analog TV, I can see a pretty big dif in quality. But within say 30 minutes it looks fine to me again.

I have the SA8300HD DVR, analog is better than I expected. As good as my 32" tube - and it does vary station to station. HD is fantastic!
