Hi all....have a major problem here and I wondered if anyone had run into this or heard about it before. I browsed through the general slimFit thread, but couldn't find anything pertaining to it....anyways:
I purchased a Samsung SlimFit TX-R3079WH about 3 months ago. I've been very happy with it, with no problems thus far. Then 2 days ago, I go to turn it on in the morning and it won't turn on. It makes the powering up sound (the little cell phone like ring), and sounds like it's turning on, but no picture or sound comes up, and then it restarts, trying to power up again (with the power up sound again).
I have had no problems with the set up until now. I was watching it the night before, turned it off and went to bed, and in the morning, it wouldn't turn on at all.
I have a technician being sent out to me, but they won't be here for over 2 weeks. I was wondering if anyone here could shed some light on my problem since I really don't want to have to wait 2 weeks just to have a tech take a look at it. I've heard about a "service mode" but I don't know how to access it.
Anyways, any help you have would be greatly appreciated.
