View Full Version : Panasonic CT-30WC15 with dark picture a problem?
There is a local place with a Panasonic CT-30WC15 that is for $475 but claims is has a "dark picture" as the sales guy said, it looks like it has a tint over it. Should I buy this item, knowing it could be a defect but still be under MFG warranty and be able to get it repaired? The closest repair center is 60 miles away so it would be a drive but for a discounted TV this may be worth it. Just lookin for some input. They said it wasnt a floor display but a returned device.
First time post, Thanks Guys.

Well personally I'd never buy an openbox item, I don't know what you mean by dark picture all the panny sets seem a bit dark but it's all easily adjustable. As for the tint maybe the first customer was playing with the user menu or the SM? Or maybe you're seeing the red push? What exactly do you mean?
Since its in the back of the store, I am clueless about what the problem is? All i know is that it was returned due to a "dark picture" that looked like tint was on the glass. If it is still under warranty this should be fixed for free though correct? I may be able to return the TV if it is not under warranty still or I am unable to set it back to default settings.
