Yes, this is a boring 20" SDTV, but I use it for older, non-HD stuff. However the picture is off center, the overscan is a bit much and it could stand to be rotated/tilted a bit counter clockwise.

I've looked all over the internet and the only page with Panasonic codes seems to be this one (http://www.calanan.com/panasonic/). Of course none of the methods listed on this page work. Can anyone help? I promise I will say "thank you".

I need help again. For some reason the replies to my posts seem to have been deleted, and I need the information contained within those posts. I know the TV is not made by Panasonic. I forget who actually makes it (they also make some Toshibas).

If I recall, getting to the service menu had something to do with holding the volume down button, but I can't figure it out. I remember it was really simple.

This TV is made by Orion (Sansui), not made by Panasonic, so the Panasonic codes will not work. Orion makes all of Toshiba picture-tube TV models. To go into the service menu, turn volume down all the way down to 0. While holding the volume down button, press 9 on the remote for about two seconds, and then the service menu will show up. Good luck.

Yeah, that was it. Thanks for your help.

By the way these Sansui-made TVs put out a better picture than Sony CRTs in the same size-class.

Orion is very good in designing analogs and SDTVs, but not in HDTVs. I used to own an Orion FTDV2004 20" TV/DVD/VCR combo before, and it had such a great picture. Too bad it broke down after only four months. I luckily was able to return it to Wal-Mart. I wanted to exchange it, but this one was already discontinued, and the Orion brand was already phased out. Before Funai took over the electronics department at Wal-Mart today, Orion used to supply many cheap TVs and VCRs to Wal-Mart for more than 12 years, until when Toshiba began to eye on Orion in 2001.
