Ok, first off, this is my first post. I've lurked for awhile and definatly come here for ideas quite a few times or to search out a problem. This one is probably an easy one. (I'm screwed!)
About a week ago, I was in bed and my roommate started yelling. He'd been playing Halo all night and now at 3am he's decided I need to get out of bed to see something.
Turns out everything is pink.
He says the TV made a loud pop noise and went off, then came back on and everything is now pink with lines through it. Ugh. I don't know much about tvs, but my first thought was "they always say tube tvs pop and then just throw them out!" I've now got over my depression of being poor with a pink tv and just wanted some confirmation that I'm screwed. THANKS!
Oh, Toshiba 36A43 was the model, playing Halo 2 on an Xbox360 through the component input. The TV was about a year and a half old :(
Thanks for any help guys. Be gentle.
