Dissapointed or Astounded by non HD Dish Network signal on Sony KD30ks955

Im wondering what the picture quality is on this set with non hd signal from dish network. I have been reading all the problems D.N. is having with their new hd equipment, so Im going to wait awhile before upgrading. Just wondering how regular digital signal of D.N. looks on this set. Will I be dissapointed or astounded

it will be as good maybe a little better than your old SDTV

using interlaced mode, minimal enhancements, and doing basic calibration with DVE, I do enjoy my SD DirecTV

I normally do use the standard mode though with SD content, and it does have some dynamic contrast settings enabled
