Hey All,

Just bought a new GameCube system and I have managed to connect it to my DELL 2405FPW LCD using a Component Cable. I need to know how can I enable 480p mode in games?

Many thanks in advance! :p

Start your game holding the B button down and if it supports it, a screen will come up asking if you want to enable 480p.

Thanks, I have Resident Evil 1 (Remake) and Resident Evil 0. Are they compatible?
Thanks!

The back of the game box will tell you if it supports progressive scan or not. I think its in the upper left and looks like a tv with lines going horizontal and vertical. I came across awhile back that had a list of all the games that supported progressive scan and which ones didn't, but of course when I need it I can't find it.

Most games that support 480p do not actually have the logo on the case :(

and yes...the sticky on this is a good place to start :) ...at least it is if you have excel.

Those two titles do not run in progressive scan. Real let down, as they are so wonderfully detailed.

Yeah, Re1 and RE0 are about the only high profile 3rd party releases on gamecube that don't support pscan.

Just in case you don't have Excel you could always try:
