I'm putting the finishing touches on my dedicated HTPC. It'a a 3.0ghz P4 on an ASUS P4P800-E motherboard, 1GB 400 ram, 6600GT 256 mb ddr3 ram, 80GB HDD and a Audigy 2 sound card.
I was planning on using TheaterTek 2.2 with the latest PureVideo Version: 1.02-196 drivers.
Will these work together or, will the latest PureVideo cause problems with the TheaterTek 2.2?
If they do work together, will it play HD DVDs and give me SPDIF pass-through?
I already have the PowerDVD 6 Deluxe. It looks OK, but I was hoping for better. I also tried the Version: 1.02-196 drivers with MediaPlayer 10. It looks about the same with no SPDIF pass-through on HD DVDs.
The video will end up as 1280 x 720 and get fed to a AE900U.
