Hello everyone. I'm close to buying the new LG Super Slim off the Best Buy website. They are offering free shipping with it. I was wondering if there is any risk with shipping this tv. If it gets banged around during shippment, am I risking that the tv could become miscalibrated? I'm just trying to think of everything.
Thanks

most likely it would be delivered from a local store but you can call best buy and ask them yourself at the 800 number

Yes my local Best Buy is 40 miles away, so it will be shipped from there?

there should be a meter on the box saying whether the package was disturbed during travel, as well as you can examine the box and TV upon delivery

Large 130 pounds TV normally ships by freight.

I wouldn't worry about it. Most of us get these heavy sets shipped one way or another. Plus, they have already been shipped to BB in the first place. Just check it out thoroughly. If you don't like the looks of the container don't accept it. If you find damage after opening it contact BB to come back and pick it up - and bring you another one.
