My five year old is home with a fever which means I'm home and working remotely. Thank goodness my Replays are providing a nearly endless supply of Dora, Blues Clues, Spongebob, and Magic Schoolbus. She's entertained and I can sit in the dining room working on my laptop.

One more reason I adore my ReplayTVs and feel sad that DNNA isn't selling them anymore.

You don't have to be a kid to appreciate Replay when you're sick, either. I've been layed up pretty badly for the better part of a couple days twice in the past few years and I really didn't have it all that bad given the endless supply of pre-selected cr@p I had to chose from on the TV (without commercials!).

6 year old daughter had RotaVirus (think 10 day stomach flu). Thankfully Replay was fully stocked. And knowing it would work overtime I set it to record as much Nick, Noggin, and GAS that was out there.

Yee ha.

I had the "rare but serious" side effect from Lipitor and spent 1.5 months last summer, close to paralyzed. I put a pretty good dent in all of my stored Replay content. It was a real life saver.

My wife is basking in the beauty of kid content today. She was on deck to take care of the squirt.

There are many drug(s) side - effects through which I have experienced comfort at the hands of my ReplayTV!

Last time I was seriously laid up was pre-replay. Daytime television seriously sucks.

I hurt my back and was home for several weeks a couple years ago. I got caught up on several seasons of various flavors of "Law and Order" *Blunk-blunk!!* (sound effect) thanks to my Replay 2020.

It was great, I had never seen the shows when they were new. Didn't have to suffer through even one minute of "Oprah".

Now that you have your health back it's fair game to say CA must have came in handy :)

OT:
Sam Goody is leaving the Chicagoland area so everything in the remaining stores is 50-70% off.

Might be a good time for some in the area to get entire seasons of shows for those times when they're down.
