this morning my daughter scratched badly the Dell 24" LCD panel I use as a bedroom TV. Essentially she used some sharp plastic thing to draw over the screen. I can feel the scratches by nail. I know it can not be completely recovered. Is there anything I could do to make it at least less noticeable? Can I try to polish it using something. Please help!

Oh man, I feel for you. I have the same panel. I don't think there is much you can do, honestly. Maybe someone else has experience with one of those car windshield scratch filler compounds, or something along those lines, but I wouldn't be too hopeful.

I would imagine any type of compound that would "fill" in the scratches would seriously alter picture quality.

I wish I had a better suggestion!

And if thats not bad enough, It looks like another crappy day in "Sunny San Diego".

call Dell - maybe they have a replacement part for the exposed plastic on your screen?
