Since my head is still smoking from all the input :confused: , I'd like to ask this question:
What would be the LCD-TV of your choice, given you want a HIGHRES, WIDESCREEN panel (1680x1050 minimum) and a SMALL screen size (27" or lower... 23", 20" is great) and NOT using an external scaler/deinterlacer to get a decent analog TV signal (composite, s-video, component) on the screen?
What manufacturers are known to use good scalers in their TVs?
I've seen SO much crap and so bad picture quality lately - I still can't believe there isn't an LCD with a DECENT internal signal processor..
