NBC showed some intelligence and kept Scrubs, although it's odd how they won't schedule it right away and might do the Jan-May thing they did this year again.

Scrubs is about the only thing I watch on NBC, so I'm very glad it'll get another season.

I am curious as to what comedies you consider to be better than Scrubs...

Dick Wolf has lost his magic it seems. He is now 0 for his last 2 (Trial by Jury and Conviction)

Don't forget his re-creation of Dragnet! 0-3.

Deadline was a great show, with terrific performances by a great cast. What killed it, in my opinion, was an unfortunate juxtaposition of circumstances. It was on NBC, and the title was too easily confused with "Dateline." I found myself actually taking a double take on coming across it on the replay guide and reacting with "Dateline? Why would I have wanted to record that piece of crap?" and catching myself before the irreversible delete by realizing it was Deadline.

I can't believe they killed off E-Ring. I mean yes, Dennis Hopper's acting left a little to be desired but it was a decent show.

Random Rumination

walked in to the ten year reunion with a gheto blaster. As she set it down she announced, "Long time no AC/DC!!!" then plunged down the play button. Out came the shiny first power chords of Back in Black
I am curious as to what comedies you consider to be better than Scrubs...
If we are limiting to what is on TV now, I'd have to say Earl, Family Guy, The War at Home, Boondocks, Simpsons, Desparate Housewives, King of the Hill, Conan, Leno, Kimmel, Letterman, the Office, WWF Raw, any NBA game announced by Bill Walton, and the TNT Verizon Wireless Halftime/Postgame Show with Kenny the Jet Smith and Charles Barkley... not all on that list are overly funny, but all definitely funnier than Scrubs.

I would say about the only show that made me laugh less was Teachers.

Scrubs is Shakespeare compare to Earl. When you get tired of laughing at Earl, what do you watch for drama, re-runs of Dukes of Hazzard?

And your command of English does the Bard proud.

Sorry, couldn't resist. :D
