My media center pc has the following error: Video error. Files needed to display video are not installed or not working correctly. Please restart Media center. I only recieve this error from Fox hdtv and only some shows. Every other channel works fine. I am using the decoders that come with TheaterTek. Does anyone have any ideas how I can solve this problem.
Thanks Doug

I occasionally see the same thing, and like you, only on fox hdtv. Prison break used to do it a lot. I have a fusion card so it is not the hdtv card. My solution is to always adjust my antenna a bit and that usually solves it. It seems like the fox signal is a little weak. Maybe it's a location thing. I'm in Baltimore, where are you?

I am in Michigan. My signal strength is usually good, but I will try an antennea adjustment. I am about 40 to 45 miles from the station. how far are you from your fox station.
Thanks

I have that same exact problem (L.A. local Fox). Only happens on non HD programs not in 5.1 digital. Never happens on the HD stuff. I don't have issues with any other channels. Only Fox non HD programs. I just have to push live tv and it comes back. If I record, it doesn't mess up.
