View Full Version : Help with HDMI/Component of Panny Plasma
Hello everyone, I have a question regarding my new Panny Plasm HD 42". I currently have a very very good pair of components that Im currently using with my old HDTV, my question is the new Plasma? I need some advice with the cables. Ill be watching a lot of sd programming so should I stick with components or go with an HDMI cable. Im going to set this up soon so I can use the help before I run the cable between the walls. Any help please? Thanks

uality of connections goes like this from best to worst : HDMI/DVI-Component-VGA/PC-S-Vhs-Composite. When using HDMI/DVI your signal goes digital to digital, when using component signal goes digital to analog to digital.
Iv been using component cables for my panny 8uk for DVDs over 9 months now... and HD15 from my PC.
Just made the switch to hdmi for DVDs and DVI for my PC... MASSIVE difference in my eyes !
The picture just looks a TON more 'solid' and the colors are better represented. Any noise / interference is all but gone now.
Its well worth picking up the extra blades in my opinion.
