Denon 4306

I hope I am missing something here...

I had the Pioneer VSX72. and when using the Ipod i could jump many artists at a time using the channel button..

How in the heck can you jump quickly through the artists/song menus? I have a 60 gig ipod and it took me about 20 minutes just to get to the darn "T"s!!!!

Also with the pioneer you could go backwards through the alphabet which I don't think the denon can do.

Not sure with the Ipod - I don't use it yet with the 4306. But, with the net music from the computer it is best to have playlists. It is easier to jump from one playlist to another than to scroll through the alphabet. I don't think you can jump ahead in the alphabet. i imagine this is the same with the Ipod.

ooooh I hadn't tryed that yet... When I got my 4306 my laptop went in to the shop due to heating issues (long story but just got letter I will receive $400 compensation because some guys in ohio are sueing the company)

I just got the cpu back so I will log in to the receiver and see what I can find :) THANKS!
