Has anyone purchased this set?

I am looking for a 50-9UK and this set appears to be the same, except for the framed bezel. It lists for $ 500 less than though! The specs are the same as the 9UK.

Is the frame removable?

the catch, I believe, is that one can't order the plasma without also ordering a frame. From what I can tell, it is the same as the 9UK except for lower MSRP and in-home warranty (because it is sold as a consumer model). Will be curious to see how this "picture frame" option sells--my guess is that it will flop, but who knows...
