Selecting Input 1 from ReplaYtv 5040

[SIZE=4][FONT=Times New Roman]I have a ReplayTV 5040, that has standard cable TV plugged into the ANT coax jack. I recently plugged in my VCR and would like to watch some home videos through my ReplayTV. I have the RCA video & audio out jacks plugged int the LINE 1 input in my Replay. I have looked in my ReplayTV owner's manual, and the only thing it mentions is that I can MANUALLY record, which will let me select the source such line LINE 1. I know I can go through the Setup option to also change the input, but it is a pain to do that, as well as slow. Does anyone know of any tricks/hacks that will allow me to switch between my cable tuner & my line 1 input more easily?[/FONT][/SIZE]

Another thing that you can do is tell your ReplayTV that there really IS some kind of service on line 1. Then, choose a channel (in the lineup on line 1) that you use for your VCR--something easy to remember. When you want to use your VCR, select the channel and you should see your video.
