I am looking for a 32 inch set for my second bedroom aka "the home office". It is a small room and I don't want to clutter it up with a cable box, therefore my quest for a set that takes a cable card. I love the picture on the Sammy's and already have the LN-R408D in the living room and the LN-S3251D in my master bedroom and I am extremely happy with both of them. If I am going to invest in a new set I definitely want 1080p so eventually when the HD war is settled in the DVD camp I will have a great image to view when watching my movies as my convertible sofa is going to be about 6.5 feet from the screen.
I guess that my title says it all. Is a 32 inch Samsung that has 1080p with a cable card slot ever going to happen? I guess that this is really a two part question as the 1080p issue in their 32 inch sets will eventually occur, however the question is when? However I am beginning to doubt that Samsung is ever going to build a a 32 inch set that takes a cable card as I don't remember ever seeing one from them.
What would you do if you were in my shoes? I don't mind waiting a little while if a set like this is in the pipeline. However I would like to do this makeover in the next 6-9 months.
