Tripod on the roof?

When I went to get my DirectTV hooked up, the installer said that my roof angle is too low and I would need a tripod to elevate my dish. Unfortunately, he said they no longer carry them. Do you guys know where I would be able to buy one?

Great, thanks for the link. I actually tried looking on their site and I couldn't find that. I would like to have it before football, so it looks like I will swing by my local R.S. tomorrow.

Roof angle to low? Is their trees in the way. Or could it be put up near the peak.

Yeah, I have some trees blocking it. He said I would be fine with a tripod though.

www.customtoolsupply.com and www.rsiinc.com carries tripods. Verify with an inclinometer that the 44 degree elevation clears the roof angle as some installers try to upsell the tripods even if you do not need one.
