Hi

I just bought the Philips 42PF7220A from Fry* it's a refurbished one, there warranty is three twenty for 3 years. I looked at Mack warranty and they are offereing 200 for 3 year, which one do you think is better. Fry* gives a loaner 27" crt TV. I want to buy the warranty for the piece of mind, did anyone here bought Mack and used it without problem? They also have two types one with the bulb replacement and one without, do plasma's have bulb in them?

Thanks in advance.

Plasmas do not have bulbs. Think of a plasma as an array of tiny fluorescent lights.

Plasmas are a separate warranty category. Sounds like they offered you the wrong one unless it specifically states "Plasma".
