View Full Version : Software for A2DP Headphone use on my PC?!
I have a Belkin F8T012 Bluetooth 2.0 adapter for my PC running XP MCE. The software that came with it is terrible. I don't want to just use XP's own drivers though, b/c although I can connect my smartphone via bluetooth to ActiveSynch, there are no A2DP drivers for my Jabra BT620s bluetooth headphones.
I tried Bluesoleil, but for some reason it would not recognize my bluetooth adapter and so it would not work.
Can you guys help me find something which will allow me to use my A2DP headphones with my PC, please!?
Thanks a lot.

I had a ambicon dongle that wouldn't work with my BT moto headphones, it did everything but AD2P... so I broke down and grabbed one of these (http://cgi.*********/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=44999&item=190030316462) from eBay. The only problem with it is, It blinks, and is kinda annoying

I have the same setup (Belkin F8T012v, Jabra BT620s, WinXP Pro) and it was a pain to get working. Every time I tried to use it I got dual mono instead of stereo, and the controls wouldn't work. I finally fixed it, and I think the secret is in the way you pair the device.
After installing the Belkin software, put the headphones in pairing mode. When you go through the software pairing menu, don't just pair the headphones. Search for services on those headphones and you should see two different ones: An icon with the headset and microphone, and an icon with stereo headphones. Select the stereo headphones (that's the A2DP one) and enter your pairing code (0000).
When it pairs you should find that it's using the Bluetooth High Quality Audio driver, not the Bluetooth Audio driver.
I hope this helps.
