I was just wondering if the 30, 48 bit color on hdmi 1.3 support displays is really worth waiting for, and what kind of a difference would I expect to see compared to a regular hdtv? I am interested in buying the Westinghouse 37in 1080p monitor but if I am spending this kind of money I would like to know if I should wait for hdmi 1.3?
I know that if I get this display and get a seperate hdmi 1.3 receiver and speakers then I can get the new lossless codecs which would give me the hdmi 1.3 audio part... (which i can easily wait to upgrade my audio to that) but is it really worth waiting for an hdmi 1.3 capable display? Thanks!
