Panasonic TH42 PV500 H - Picture setup

I just bought this plasma (Panasonic TH42 PV500 H). The picture doen's seems to impress me much. Maybe I need to do some calibration on the picture. Anyone have any ideas on how utilize the picture performance?

We'd need to know exactly what your source is, how it's connected to the TV, what kind of programming looks bad, and what your picture settings are.

I don't recognize that model - are you somewhere other than North America?

I'm using the same model as TH-42PX500U. I only used to watch movie with HDMI DVD player from samsung
