New here... but if someone could help that'd be great..... and any info for future postings are welcomed.

I was wondering if anyone can help me... I've tried Flipflop's method for updating the replay IR codes.. and can't get it to work yet...

So... I'm trying to get the more rudimentary way to work with DvArchive and WiRNS... However.. I can't seem to get DvArchive to let me view or manipulate the photo folder on my replay... Any suggestions.. I'm sure it's something simple..

Also... I keep getting an error when I try to install WiRNS..

Error is:....

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0x8fc (2300), Thread id=0xa24 (2596).

Please help!! Thanks!

DVArchive has a setting for "minimum size photo partition to display" - check to see that it's set to a size smaller than that of the photo partitions on your RTVs.

And note that the only way your photo partition is smaller than the DVA default is if you used a tool like RTVPatch. If you did not use such a tool, it's more likely you didn't actually allocated a photo partition.

Note that even if you set the photo partition to 0GB (none), the ReplayTV still allocates a very, very small amount of photo storage -- often enough to store 2 or 3 small JPG photos. So if you have a few photos on there and think that means you have a photo partition, that may in fact not be the case.

Still, you can set the DVA photo partition minimim size to 1 (1 byte) and see what happens (you may have to restart DVA). If the photos show, then click on the photos node and look in the light blue box to the right and read the size of the photos area. If it's less than a 100MB, then you really don't have a useable photos partition.
