sony dcr-hc26

Does anybody own a Sony dcr-hc26 mini dv camcorder?......I'm trying to decide between a Canon ZR500, JVC GR-D370US,Panasonic PV-GS29. I'm a point & shoot kind of person & and all i wanna do is record home videos & burn to my dvd recorder. I tried the JVC GR-D350US but the video quality was grainy even when shooting outside.
