So last night i'm at my favorite Mexican food place near my house and while i'm waiting for my food i'm watching an ESPN football game on their two month old 42" Sammy plasma. All of a sudden the whole picture changed to a multi-colored shimmering curtain effect and we could barely make out the ESPN logo and a few other graphics but that's about it. I had the owner switch to other inputs but the problem was exactly the same on all of em. I had him unplug it for several seconds but when he plugged it back in it now had a black screen and the big blue circle indicator was blinking slowly. Sound worked fine throughout, just no picture. He said it had happened once before (last week) and he just turned it off for the night, then the next business day it came on and worked normally until it happened again last night.
It's just funny that i've been watching my Panny plasma every day for like 19 months and it's performed flawlessly and the possibility of this happening to mine is always there, but within 5 minutes of watching their Sammy for the first time it fails before my eyes.
I told him to call for repair and good luck with that . . . . :p
