Hi All,

Quick question for the experts. I've recently picked up an Arcam AVR 100- an honest 75wpc - at a great price. I've replaced a cheap Technics HT receiver, and I'm looking now to upgrade my speakers.

I'm looking at B&W CM1s &( or maybe 7s if I jump in with both feet) Totems, Eras and really any others in the $1000 / pr range for the fronts. I have a small room, but if I can find some slim floostanders that I fall in love with ( ex: Totem Arros, the aforementioned cm7s), I'm willing to go over the 1K mark.

My question: the Arcam sounds great with my current setup - Polk RT series- but will it have enough juice to do these higher end speakers justice? Admittedly, it's a small room, so I'm not so concerned with sheer volume, but rather with dynamics and clarity.

Speaker recommendations are also welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Matro

Should be fine, an Arcam's 75W is better than a lot of other stuff at 150w

that's what i'm thinking. I was kicking the idea of selling it off and trading up to a new Rotel or Cambridge Audio, but Im pretty sure its a lateral move, if anything.
