How to show one movie in two places simultaneously

Basic question. The HT and family room are next to each other and the equipment for both share the same wall on opposite sides. I want to be able to simultaneously see content on both the family room RPTV and HT FP (movie party with people in both rooms).

What do I need in terms of AVR or DVD player? I currently have a Denon 3805 AVR and will soon buy a new DVD player. Do you split the signal coming out from the source DVD (how if so)?

Do I send an HDMI signal to the FP and a component and audio to the RPTV?

Some of the new marantz receivers have dual HDMI outputs... or you could get a component distrobution amp from Key digital or the like.
