Is "Secrets" Testing DVD Recorders For Playback Quality?- They Should

A bunch of people are buying top sellers such as the Pioneer 640 HDD DVDR, the Panny ES15, Magnavox MSR90D6(Sams Club), Liteon and LG models. These people are playing their DVDs on these units. This testing is needed. I hate to see this DVD player board become so elitist that it will not test these recorders/ players. I am not saying that the DVDR's are great at playback.. just that top selling models deserve testing.

Kris has a limited bandwidth. I'd much rather see him test "real" players than recorders. And I do have a recorder. But I never use it for playback. I personally think that anyone who expects good playback on a recorder probably wouldn't be the type of person to look up the results on Secrets anyway.
