I just bought one of these sets (no buzzing *knock on wood*), and am starting to muck around with the settings.

One thing I'm not sure of how to do is to stretch non-HD content automatically while keeping HD content in the 16:9 aspect ratio. Can this be done automatically? It's kind of a pain to hit the p.size button when switching between the 2 types of content.

I'm one of those that doesn't mind the stretched 4:3 content, and I'd rather have the peace of mind, but it's not really for me that I'd like to have this be done automatically. I don't mind hitting the button, but I think my wife will get very tired of it shortly.

Thanks,
J.

You can do this through the settings on your cable box or satellite system

Agree. And after a very short time, I didn't even notcie the stretched image. You get used to it pretty quickly. One thing though that really frosts my socks, are the stations that transmit so-called HD - yet those damn bars remain on their picture. At least up here, there are more stations pulling this boner than the ones that will fill your screen with their transmitted pic.
