I was wondering if there is the normal plasma glare on the pioneer 5070 ?
I am looking for a new display and the shrp 62u series doesnt seem to be the answer with all of its banding bs going on...this is for a bright room with lots of windows. I have never seen a pioneer plasma in person but the pannys have serious glare.

In the stores they look pretty much the same - lots of reflection and glare on both, maybe a few percent difference but it's pretty negligeable.

The Pioneer will do better in a bright room than just about any other Plasma, but it's still a Plasma and it will be reflective, albeit not as reflective as a regular Tube TV so it's an improvement there.

Glare is there. If I want to do some serious watching, i close the blinds.
