Has anyone compared the menu of the Pioneer Elite PRO-1540HD vs the Comcast box menu? If I use a CableCard, will I be as happy with the Pioneer Elite PRO-1540HD menu as I would be with the menu features of the Comcast box? What would I give up?

Do NOT use the cablecard- they are sketchy at best, horribly unreliable at the worst!
One of my clients has had no less than 7 different cable cards in his PRO-930 since last December. AND to boot, most cable-installers are extremely unaware of the technicalities involved with cable cards and their issues.
It's much easier to deal with the extra remote, the extra box, and have reliable TV.
Finally- to answer your question: No, there's no visual difference between the cable box and the cable card- because both still go through Pioneer's processing before being sent to the plasma.

-sorry, I didn't read the question closely enough: the Pioneer menu/guide is better than the Comcast menu/guide....but please beware of what I mentioned above.
