$60 CDN for a Technics SA-DX750

http://www.prodcat.panasonic.com/shop/NewDesign/ModelTemplate.asp?ModelId=11762&show_all=false&product_exists=True&active=1&ModelNo=SA-DX750&CategoryId=2653

It supports Dolby Digital 5.1 and ProLogic.

I am going to hook it up to my Xbox 360 via an optical cable and will buy some speakers.

What I am missing without DTS and ProLogic II support?

Bad deal?

Not sure I'd pay that much for a DX750. I'd expect a DX940 or 950 for that these days. Dolby Digital is a requirement, Pro Logic (the original) is useless, missing DTS is a big deal, and Pro Logic II is nice but not a requirement.

Save a little more and buy a current new or used model. You can get the Onkyo 304 Refurb for $99 US with waranty (although I'm not sure about shipping to Canada) and it or a simular model would be a much better choice. Point is, with a little research and patients you can get a current model for not much more than that.
