Ok, maybe this is a little cheesy, but I just had a thread of mine bumped from another HD Radio forum, because I mentioned that some HD Radios receive C-Quam AM Stereo! The reason? C-Quam isn't HD! But that's a feature of an HD Radio, just as alarm functionality is!
I asked, "shouldn't others be bumped for mentioning that the Accurian also has alarm functions"? No answer yet. I also wondered out loud if a reviewer discovered that an HDTV included onboard dvd playback, despite there being no mention of it in the literature, didn't it belong in the review, despite the fact that is't "not HD"? Of course, no answer. That would require logic. Fairness. An open mind. The kind displayed by the moderator of this forum!
I know there is bickering here, and I am (at least) as guiilty of it as anyone. But in a free society, ALL ideas should be welcome. Nobody should be left out. Dumb comments (i.e. those made by people who disagree with me. KIDDING!) may either be addressed, or ignored. Your choice. OUR choice. Thanks again moderator for giving us the choice.
HD Radio is new. It's controversial. Opinions, and rhetoric are occasionally (over)heated. Hopefully the outcome will be better radio service for all.
