Major image problem (Mitsu Diamond RP)

My parents have an ~3yr old Mitsubishi Diamond Rear Projection 55" CRT. About 1 week ago, these problems started. Basicly, the blacks and blues are really messed up.

I am attaching 6 images from the movie Tigerland. These images will speak for themself.

ANy ideas as to what is wrong? Is it fixable etc etc?
