Green flashes on my LG plasma?

I have a 52" LG plasma display, which I love. It's connected to my receiver with component cables. I have noticed, and it seems to happen more when the TV is first turned on, that there are flashes of green "phosphor" on the screen during contrast changes. It's like a flash of "noise" on the screen which rapidly vanishes.

Anyone have any experience with this? Is it a temperature issue, or a cabling problem? the cables are definitely in snugly.

For the price of those cables, you could try another brand, but this and your other post (bright white flash), could be indicative of a pooched set.

Is the set new enough that you can get it replaced with another unit from the place you bought it?
